*CHRIS BACHALO makes his first appearance at Amazing Las Vegas Comic Con, courtesy of Local Store Torpedo Comics. He is best known for run on Uncanny X-Men, Neil Gaiman’s Death:The High Cost of Living, and his creator-owned book Steampunk. Bachalo’s most recent work was part of the Amazing Spider-Man art team for the current Kraven Arc. Bachalo is appearing one day only on Sunday June 19th.
*STEVEN GRANT, a Las Vegas local, returns to Amazing Comic Con June 14-15-16 appearing on each of the days. Steven Grant wrote the very first solo appearances of Marvel’s anti-hero THE PUNISHER. Other Marvel work includes The Avengers, Incredible Hulk, and Marvel’s first “mini series”- CONTEST OF CHAMPIONS. Other work includes issues of What If?, Spectacular Spider-Man, Defenders and more. Grant was a vanguard in the independent movement in the early direct market comic market as he created the female ninja story WHISPER. More recently for BOOM Studios he wrote 2 GUNS, which later became a movie with Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg.
*BRIAN HABERLIN comes back to Amazing Las Vegas Comic Con on each of the 3 days of the conventions. He is best known as the Co-Creator of Witchblade, and has served as the Editor in Chief of SPAWN- creator stories, and contributing art for the series. His resume as a colorist is second to none, working on all the top titles at Marvel, DC, Image, Harris, and more. As an indépendant creator his body of work is diverse- he published M. REX which later was produced on the Cartoon Network as Generator Rex. He also produced comics based on the WUTANG Clan as well and upcoming SONATA. Brian Haberlin brings his augmented reality books such as Anomaly and Creature Collector to Las Vegas, as well as a slew of digital tutorials on how to draw, and break into the business too.
